Fostering Connections to Improve Education

Volunteers

Partners committed to continuously enhancing preparation through accreditation

At TLAC, we value volunteers as an essential part of the accreditation process since they ensure quality educator preparation which in turn positively impacts P-12 learning.

Our volunteers consist of policymakers, educators, parents and students, stakeholders and the general public as well, amounting to a whopping number of more than a 1000. A diverse placement of roles makes sure we include the perspective of everyone, coming from different professions and walks of lives. An integral part of P-12 learning is representation of all students and this aspect ensures it.

State Partners

Partners to impact P-12 learning through collaboration and leadership

By combining the advantages of meeting national standards with those of maintaining state programme approval, TLAC has developed state partnerships that are accommodating to each participating state's unique needs and policies. To affirm these partnerships, agreements are established which lay out primary responsibilities and goals of the involved parties.

Such partnerships also make sure they keep in mind the state’s needs and abides by its policies, to further amplify educator preparation.

Research

Partners in research, ideas and development to add to P-12 learning.

One of the biggest potential and challenges for the sector and TLAC, the organization that accredits educator preparation, is to make educator preparation based on research Despite the well-established significance of teachers to students' academic progress, systematic access to and application of research on the best ways to train future teachers is rare. .

Collaboration initiatives that promote research and innovation in the discipline are valued by TLAC, and it takes part in them..
